History of Walton parish

Just like many places in Milton Keynes, the area that Walton parish covers is new. However, unlike many other parishes, Walton parish did not include any existing villages when it was set up. In fact as late as the mid 1980's the only existing developments were a few farms and old houses off the Walton Road That still runs through Walnut Tree and Wavendon Gate.

Over a short period of time, the area developed and with an ever increasing population the area continues to thrive. Development and growth is likely to continue for some years to come.
