How to get involved and attend

Any member of the public is welcome to attend a parish council meeting.  The meeting is open and fully minuted.  Occasionally, the Chair may need to temporarily suspend public participation if a sensitive item needs to be discussed.

You are welcome to join the meeting for the entire duration, or just to listen to a certain item on the agenda.  Members of the public that are attending cannot join in any discussions or debates without prior arrangement.

If you would like to raise an item, or speak with the parish council when you attend then please make sure you contact the Clerk in advance.

If you are a local voluntary organisation or charity that wishes to apply for a grant from Walton Parish Council, we welcome your submission using our application form and would encourage you to attend our meeting to explain your request.
