Police, Neighbourhood Watch and Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG)

In an emergency, always contact emergency services by phone on 999 or 112.

For non-emergencies, or to get in contact with your neighbourhood policing team, Thames Valley Police can be contacted via 0845 8 505 505, the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number.

Thames Valley Police
Thames Valley Police have a comprehensive website at www.thamesvalley.police.uk
Walton Parish is split into 2 separate policing zones, Walton North & Simpson (note that Simpson and Simpson Village are outside of Walton Parish) and Walton South.  You can access the neighbourhood updates for those areas by clicking on the area you're interested.

Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG)
Alongside the police, an organisation called a "NAG", or Neighbourhood Action Group exists to help tackle local issues.  NAGs focus their work around the main priorities that are identified after consultation with the local community. Members, who are all volunteers, take on responsibility for achieving certain tasks on behalf of their neighbourhood.  The NAG that covers our parish is the Walton & Simpson NAG (again please note that Simpson and Simpson Village are outside of Walton Parish).  More information on NAGs can be found at Milton Keynes Council's SaferMK homepage.

Neighbourhood Watch
Neighbourhood Watch is all about helping to reduce crime, the opportunity for crime and the fear of crime throughout Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.  It is also about building community spirit by bringing people closer together with common goals through watch schemes.  Find out more about your local Neighbourhood Watch or how to set one up at Milton Keynes Neighbourhood Watch Association.
